Helpful bed buying information
Measure your room so you can choose a bed that will complement the space you have. Then consider who will be sleeping in the bed - To maximize comfort, your bed should be at least a half a foot longer than the tallest person who will use it. If the bed you are purchasing is for a taller person you might consider a California King as it is the longest of the sizes. Now look at the measurements of the bed and how much space is available in your room for that new bed. Do you have room for storage, walking and you other bedroom furniture? You may need to compromise between the two. To help you make that decision here is a list of standard bed sizes:

Twin Bed - 39" wide x 75" long
Full Size Bed - 54" wide x 75" long
Queen Size Bed - 60" wide x 80" long
King Size Bed - 76" wide x 80" long
California King Size Bed - 72" wide x 84" long

Other helpful iron bed buying tips

• Your headboard should be about a foot taller than your mattress for aesthetic reasons and if you like to fall asleep to a bit of television be sure you select a bed that has a low enough foot board to see the set over.
• Mattresses and box springs frequently differ from the standard sizes, so make sure to measure before picking out your frame.
